This Dusky Grouse lives in mountain forests of ponderosa and lodgepole pine, aspen, and fir in Rocky Mountain National Park. The bird really gets camouflaged when it’s in the high grasses. This bird walked right in front of us when we on a trail.

I was very fortunate to be able to see and photograph the Bald Eagle in front of a mountain range. How perfect was this?
