As I was hiking in the mountains, a couple of coyotes approached me. I remained calm while I photographed the coyotes and at the same time trying to figure out what was the best way to get out. I remained calm and after 10 minutes they both sat down while I slowly walked away.

Our home had this huge rock next to our home and during the winter the Bug Horned Sheep used to lay outside on the rock when the sun was hot.

Squirrels are a great way to practice your wildlife photography as you see them everywhere and even in your backyard. It gives you a chance to get a real nice photograph as many of your squirrel photographs will just be ok. Practice makes you a better photographer.

There are majestic elk all around Rocky Mountain National Park. Just remember that the elk don't have full antlers all year around if you want to photograph the elk. The fall and winter are the best times to photograph the elk as they are in the park with full antler racks.

I’m always so surprised to see the seals at Nauset Marsh and away from the ocean. They never used to swim in toward the marsh but now they make their way quite far into Nauset Marsh and even up toward Town Cove.
